Booking Management

Booking is not just about generating booking from the system considering rates! Booking involves all the cargo details. Carriers and NVOCCs need a lot of information on booking other than having rates on file. e.g. Nature of cargo, weight of the cargo, number of containers required., shipper & Consignee details etc. If it is special equipment say Haz, you need to seek approval from the vessel operator before a booking can be accepted, same goes with Reefer or over dimensional cargo. Booking process would also involve procuring an empty container for stuffing. This may also include arranging the transportation of empty container (issuing a transportation order/release order)
